The Dispute Resolution Board, if the parties accept its duty, examines and decides on all kinds of disputes arising from contracts between clubs, football players, technical staff and football managers related to football. The Dispute Resolution Board is exclusively responsible for sports penalties and training compensation disputes.”

APPLICATION PROCEDURE TO THE DISPUTE RESOLUTION BOARD 📝

There is a Dispute Resolution Board Regulation that determines the working principles of the Dispute Resolution Board. 📜

📌 Application Conditions:

  • The application must be made by petition.
  • A receipt indicating that the application fees have been paid must be attached to the petition.
  • Petitions must be delivered to the Dispute Resolution Board Coordinatorship, one more than the number of opposing parties.

B) Application Fee for Disputes with Monetary Value

An application fee of 3% of the value of the subject matter must be deposited into the TFF account in advance.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION BOARD APPLICATION REVIEW PROCESS 🧐

✔️ The entire application fee must be paid. Otherwise, the application will not be reviewed. 🚨 ✔️ After the application is completed, it is recorded by the Coordinatorship with a main number. 📑 ✔️ If there are any deficiencies, they must be completed within 7 days, otherwise the application will be deemed not to have been made. ✔️ The response petition must be submitted within 7 days. Otherwise, the defendant is deemed not to have responded. ✔️ The file with completed petition exchanges is placed on the board's agenda.

TRIAL AND DECISION PROCESS ⚖️

  • The Board makes decisions within the framework of TFF Law No. 5894, TFF Instructions, FIFA & UEFA rules and Turkish law. ⚖️
  • The file is reviewed. If deemed necessary, information, documents may be requested or a hearing may be held. 📄
  • It is independent and reasoned decisions are made. 🏛️

📌 Decision Period:

  • The decision must be made within 4 months at the latest from the application date. ⚠️
  • The period may be extended in one-month periods if there are justified reasons. ⏳
  • The decisions become final if no objection is made to the Arbitration Board.

📌 Objection Period to the Arbitration Board:

  • An objection can be made to the Arbitration Board within 7 days from the notification of the decision to the parties. ⚠️
  • The decision of the Arbitration Board is final and will be implemented immediately.

IMPORTANT NOTES 🚨

  • The DRC has exclusive authority for the Dispute Resolution Board files opened before 02.03.2019.

  • In disputes regarding contracts signed before 02.03.2019, if an application is made to the DRC, if the defendant party does not object to the authority within 7 days, it is deemed to have accepted the authority of the board.
